The Call

That night Victoria went to bed, but she stared at the ceiling, looking at the clock she saw that the hours were passing and she couldn’t conceive of sleep, she thought a lot about Lucrecia, she wanted to call her but it was already too late, “she must be asleep” (Victoria thought) so she went to the kitchen for a glass of water, after she went to bed again she was almost asleep.

On the other side Lucrecia the same thing happened to her, she couldn’t sleep, she went for a glass of wine, she sat on the sofa to think about Victoria until she was drunk, and called Victoria at that time “is she asleep? Hmmm I’ll call her anyway”

Victoria POV

I was finally able to sleep, when I could close my eyes at 3 in the morning, my cell phone rings, half sleepy I answer…. “Who could it be at this hour of the morning?”

-hello?

-Hey wake up darling! (Drunk)

-Lucrecia?

After the shower, I assisted her to bed and gently laid her down. Once she was settled, she drifted off to sleep, and I couldn’t resist tenderly caressing her face.

Victoria’s heart raced as she heard Lucrecia’s desperate cries in her sleep. The name Gabrielle resonated deeply within her, stirring memories and emotions she had long tried to bury. A flood of images and sensations rushed through Victoria’s mind, and she felt an inexplicable connection to the name. With a mix of curiosity and concern, Victoria got up quickly and went to her, entered her room, saw her awake, drenched in sweat, hugged her to calm her down.

-Lucrecia (running towards her)….Lucrecia, are you okay?

-Gabrielle! (Crying)……is that you?

-Gabrielle… Gab….

Victoria got scared, because a flashback came quickly… she took a deep breath and, scared, hugged Lucrecia to reassure her.

-Calm down, I’m here! (Running his hand through that dark hair)…Shhhh, oh god you’re burning in fever, wait, lie down I’ll give you something to reduce the fever (putting a warm cloth on his forehead)….so, you’re going to get better.

With Victoria’s care, Lucrecia had improved, she only had a headache because she had too many drinks, Lucrecia had been practicing some exercises to remember who she was in her past life, and discovered that she was a Warrior Princess named Xena , with a dark past, but found the light with a young woman named Gabrielle and learned what love is, because she had fallen in love with that girl, but as time passed she had to die even if she hadn’t wanted to in order to free those souls that she had killed, that scared her a little, because she knew that she wanted to find that girl who is the love of her life.

-Lucrecia, are you feel better?

Victoria sits next to her and Lucrecia grabs her hand and touches her face, Victoria smiled but she felt somewhat strange at the same time comfortable, loved and confident, she closes her eyes at Lucrecia touch for her face.

Lucrecia froze to hear the phrase that Victoria was telling her is the same one that Gabrielle told her.

when she closed her eyes Lucrecia approached her and began to kiss her gently and caressed her face, just at that moment Victoria remembered and Lucrecia felt her heart accelerate along with her breathing, she caressed Lucrecia face and she had some tears and Kiss the palms of Victoria’s hands, she hugged her tight, she didn’t want to let her escape

-Xena?

-Gabrielle?

-is it really you? (Caressing her face hugging her)

-Oh Xena! Why did you leave me? (Sobs)

In the morning Lucrecia and Victoria had to go to the bank to get money, because she had to go to Malibu CA, they had offered her a much better job offer than they already had, and what they wanted was to earn more and save for the future They had to get up early so they went to the bank to get the money. While Victoria went to the ATM, a shooting started so Lucrecia ran to where Victoria was but she didn’t see her, she started shouting her name to see if she heard her. .

-VICTORIA!!!!……Victoria where are you?.

Victoria had run to help a baby whose parents had been killed, within the entire run Lucrecia collided head-on with a tall woman, about 6 feet, light brown hair with brown eyes, a police officer who was dealing with the case, with the name Julie McKenna, but seeing the eyes of these, she felt a cold down his back.

we had arrived at home, we decided to give the little girl to a group home, because we couldn’t stay with her, there they would take care of her and look for a family for her, when we arrived we took a bath together in the Jacuzzi we both needed a break, Lucrecia felt very tense so I decided to give her a back and shoulder massage, then we went to bed, I fell asleep, but when I woke up around 12 am to go get a glass of water, I saw Lucrecia on the sofa with a glass of wine, wake up, I approached her I gave her a kiss on the forehead.

-Lucrecia love…

-Sorry my dear I didn’t want to wake you up.

-Honey, what are you doing here?

I can’t sleep, I feel restless.

Lucrecia POV

I went to bed with Victoria, what delicate hands, what a delight to feel her warmth along with mine, we began to kiss, caress each other, those massages that she gave me, I needed it because I felt very tense.

Between pampering and caresses we went to sleep, tomorrow we will leave for Palmdale, it will be beautiful to live in front of the sea and make our home, and perhaps more ahead.
